We take pride in efforts to uphold our motto: "Always Ready." We are ready to respond throughout each crisis whether it may be tornados, winter storms, major fires, drought, or hazardous materials release. Chilton County EMA depends primarily on one paid staff member along with many volunteers to achieve our goals.

Fire through a window In March of 2004, Chilton County EMA took on a new responsibility of coordinating Homeland Security activities for our county. Chilton County EMA is now the primary contact for distribution of federal Homeland Security funds down to our local governments and emergency services units.
